Pre-Production

One of the most overlooked aspects of filmmaking is the planning stage, before anything is ever shot. Locations have to be scouted and arranged, sets have to be decorated, permits have to be obtained, a complete crew has to be assembled, the proper equipment has to be prepped, storyboards and script breakdowns have to be given to the department heads, and on top of all that stuff you need to find a way to feed everyone.

The 3to1 film team has years of experience on all types of productions -- narrative films, documentary films, corporate videos, music videos, small-scale guerrilla shoots, large-scale productions, interior shoots, exterior shoots, shoots from the tops of buildings, shoots from the center of the earth, and the list goes on. When we take on a new project, we have the knowledge needed to make sure everything is ready to roll smoothly when the film finally starts rolling.

And if/when something doesn't go exactly as planned, we have the wits about us to solve problems on the fly and make it all work out in the end, like in a high school sports movie.
