Dave Adler is a composer, producer, and keyboard player. After cutting his musical teeth with legendary funk drummer Clyde Stubblefield, he served as a music director for Chicago's Second City, Annoyance, and ImprovOlympic theaters, after which he completed USC's graduate program specializing in composition for motion pictures and television. From there he scored the first season of Comedy Central's UPRIGHT CITIZENS BRIGADE.

Next he teamed up with swing savants RICHARD CHEESE AND LOUNGE AGAINST THE MACHINE; acting as musical director and arranger, the group's Sinatra-styled renditions of alternative rock hits drew critical praise, national airplay, and record setting crowds at live appearances across the country. Highlights included appearances on NBC, MTV, FOX, and CNN, as well as a featured big band arrangement for Universal Pictures' Dawn Of The Dead remake.

Following an album and Icelandic tour with former Sugar Cubes drummer Siggi Baldursson, Adler composed and produced the original score for CHICAGO BORICUA. The independent feature premiered at New York’s Tribeca Film Festival and received national distribution through Screen Media/Universal. He then teamed up with renowned guitarist/singer-songwriter WILLY PORTER to co-produce Available Light, named one of the year's best releases by Performing Songwriter Magazine.

Adler's book/CD THE TOTAL KEYBOARD PLAYER (Hal Leonard) was released in August. His additional clients include Apple, the Discovery Channel, A&E, HBO, and Mattel. He's also a proud member of The Gomers, official house band of Madison, Wisconsin.
